Stepan Christanov first got familiar with Indian classical music in 2007 during a trip to India: Shivnath Mishra – the virtuoso of sitar, became his teacher. He’s been learning classical music tradition, as well as experimenting with different sounds combining the sitar with other instruments, voice and electronic music. Since 2020 he’s been working with pianist Dima Mikhaylin.
